Late Bloomer starts with the walking in of students into a class with the subject of being the female genitalia for today lesson, the song choice tells the story of unsuspecting children walking to their doom as it feels like as shots of the teacher drawing the genitalia progresses in details and color, as questions from the adolescent student came about it was clear through the full and long shots of the class room that there was a sense of confusion.
This short film maintains a lot of humor as progression into the story, it tells a tell of teenagers first sex ed lesson with fear of what is going on as details of the lesson it obtains a weird sense poetic insight as the child's grueling lesson continues. through this intro the main question as to this is why so much fear which outlines the films unique selling point of the horrific sex ed lesson.
