Short Film Opening Sequences
Fear of the Living Dead starts from a woman walking down a road into a house with a ax which is often ambiguous, the story progresses to see a pale man laying on the floor totally ignored by the scary woman with a ax. The film follows the woman to the garden where she sees a what could only be questioned to be a zombie pulling out fake intestines and attempting to eat them until gruesomely attacked by this woman with a ax with poor quality fake blood squirting at her at her every swing at this zombie.
The Short film went for the ambiguous but very dramatic intro with the music being in-sync with the cloudy atmoshphere portrayed by the woman with a ax, the director opted for the quiet mysterious intro, this gave a tense scenario to be portrayed and allowed for question asking such as where is she packing her bags to go is she some sort of zombie catcher this all increases anxiety as to wanting to find out more off the story line and feeds for a more dramatic unique selling point of a woman killing zombie proving to be a kind of tomb raider meets dawn of the dead
