In an empty room all alone sat one little girl, with sadness imprinted on her face, as the door closed it shuddered the walls as it did so. By herself she grabbed the teddy bear wearing a locket placed on its back on the table beside her, she held the teddy directly in front of her and looked it at it for a brief moment almost as if she was citing back to a moment with someone in her past. Holding it close to her she squeezed it tight as if it were human and continued to as if she felt the bear squeezing her too, her eyes closed and her arms moving from the bears back to the head of the bear, she slowly pushed the bear away opening her eyes to an environment she looked to not understand glaring at the bear as it were someone dear. Looking into the sowed buttoned eyes of the bear a single tear trickled down from her eye and unto her cheek muttering “daddy no” repeatedly over and over as if something magical would appear.
She began to weep as her tears grew louder; distant footsteps were heard as they grew louder and were done to a more consistent pace it was clear that this person was running towards the room. As the steps came to a stand still it was clear that whoever was running was at the door, as the handle was turned and the door was pushed the girl stopped crying and turned to see who was there, in the door way stood a tall slender woman dressed in black with her hair done and her make up running, she walked towards the little girl and hugged her, in a weeping tone trying to force strength and security into her tone she said “its going to be alright mummy’s here don’t worry I’m here”. She held the child tight and the child continued to cry.
The little girls mother stood up and walked towards the door and called her daughter, the daughter stood up picked up the teddy and walked towards her mother dragging her feet with her head down. She held her mums hand as they walked down the hall way and into the car her mum buckled her seat belt in the back seat as she placed the teddy in the seat next to her.
They in the car the mother drove with no music no significant jittering playing just the sound of the tyres and the road as looked outside the window at the long stretch of trees. Her mum made a sharp turn followed by a stop to the car quickly got out and dashed confused as to were her mother was going she tracked her with her eyes until she entered what looked to her as a flower shop gently tapping at the window she said “mummy” with her tone growing louder she cried “MUMMY, MUMMY” this all lead to her weeping as to the disappearance of her mother with fear that she had left her. Her mum walked out of the shop with a bunch of flowers white and lilac flowers. Seeing her daughter cry she dashed to the car and said “its going to be alright mummy’s here don’t worry I’m here”. Her mum went back in the car reversed and continued driving for another 5 minutes arriving at an estranged location with pieces of stone sticking out and angels she was confused as to were she was until her mum stopped her and said “look hunny that’s were daddy’s going to sleep forever”.
with this story i felt that there could be a lot to write about and using this i could capture the feelings of the little girl and project it to influence the feelings of the readers, the story touches a nerve and i wanted to share the story and the heart warming tale with as many people as possible
